What is Sugaring?

Sugaring is an ancient art of hair removal that only uses all natural products without any strips or applicators.
Why Sugar?
Sugar is used to remove unwanted hair because it effectively exfoliates the skin while adhering to the hair, making removal process gentle and less irritating than some other methods.

Sugaring Benefits
Sugaring offers several benefits over traditional waxing. Made from natural ingredients; sugar, lemon, and water. Sugaring is gentler on the skin and less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions.
Unlike waxing, sugar paste adheres only to dead skin cells and hair—never live skin—making it less painful and reducing the risk of redness or inflammation. It’s applied at body temperature, so there’s no risk of burns, and it removes hair in the natural direction of growth, which helps prevent breakage and ingrown hairs. Plus, sugaring is water-soluble, making cleanup quick and easy with just warm water.

Hair grows in three main stages: anagen (active growth), catagen (transition), and telogen (resting/shedding). During the anagen phase, hair is actively growing and most effectively removed from the root. At 4-week intervals, more hairs are in this ideal stage, making treatments more effective and results longer lasting. Staying consistent with your appointments helps disrupt the growth cycle, leading to smoother skin and finer regrowth over time.
